MCS Awarded $7,125 Grant From the Community Foundation of Sarasota County

The Giving Coast

Manatee Children's Services Child Advocacy Center is the proud recipient of a grant from the Edward K. Roberts Emerging Needs Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. Funding for this project will enable MCS to hire Tracy Vanderneck, President of Phil-Com, LLC, as a consultant to implement organizational strategic planning, fundraising processes, infrastructure assessment, recommendations, and trainings on the basics of fundraising for MCS board and staff. Working with a consultant gives us the potential to increase our financial abilities and consistently meetour agency goal of reducing child abuse recidivism. Fundraising plays an integral role in MCS’s ability to meet our mission and build a solid financial capacity. Tracy Vanderneck will train all MCS board members and staff, which will help maximize our fundraising efforts, better share our mission with the communities we serve, and attract more volunteers.
